Step-by-Step UPI Deposit Process

  1. Open Wingo App and log in to your account. Navigate to the "Deposit" or "Add Money" section from the main menu.
  2. Select UPI as payment method from the available options. You'll see UPI, Paytm, PhonePe, and bank transfer options.
  3. Enter deposit amount — minimum ₹100, maximum varies by account verification level. For new users, up to ₹10,000 per transaction.
  4. Choose your UPI app — select Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or enter your UPI ID manually. The app will redirect you to your chosen UPI app.
  5. Authenticate the payment — use your UPI PIN on your preferred UPI app to confirm the transaction. This is the only step where you leave Wingo App.
  6. Wait for confirmation — the deposit is usually instant. You'll see the credited balance in your Wingo account within seconds. If delayed, check after 5 minutes.
⚠️ Important: Never share your UPI PIN with anyone. Wingo App will never ask for your PIN. The payment authentication happens entirely within your UPI app.

UPI Deposit Troubleshooting

❌ Payment Failed

Check your UPI PIN, internet connection, and daily UPI limit. If your bank imposes a UPI limit, wait until it resets or use a different payment method.

❌ Money Debited but Not Credited

This is rare but happens. Note the transaction reference ID (URN) from your UPI app. Contact Wingo support with this ID. Funds are usually credited within 24 hours.

❌ UPI App Not Opening

Ensure your default UPI app is set correctly in phone settings. Try clearing the app cache or reinstalling your UPI app.

❌ Daily Limit Exceeded

Most banks have a daily UPI transaction limit of ₹1,00,000. Wait for the next day or use a different UPI app linked to a different bank.
